Joining late, reading backwards, & possibly bumping past topics; I forgot to even say hidy! (Subject & 1st-line greeting greeted, done.)
Dark & sullen poetry before wife, new self-affirming & even songs after wife. Where Christ has saved my soul, she has saved my heart.
Besides, I love writing. My college English Composition I & II teacher said I have a bad habit of writing in compound/complex sentences; and although he was flamboyantly gay, he became my favorite of all the teachers I've ever had. I respected his advice and his wincing at grammatical errors like Star Trek's 'To boldy go...' or ending anything with a dangling participle. Where are we going to? Yeyikes...
I had a question about a possible new area in the message forum, tentatively labeled 'Constructive Critisism / Works in Progress...' or something; where one can post incomplete poems for advice, inspiration, or honest wishes in help to fix the bloody things from hideous epic-fail disasters.
We like liking poems. What do we dislike worse, a blatantly bad read or the admitting...? Sometimes we need help, & I thought this could.
& now back to our regularly scheduled forum surfing, already in progress...
